Biography
Born October 23, 1911. Began working at R.K. Laros Silk Company in 1928 at the age of 17 as a bobbin boy. By time of retirement, he served as plant manager for the Hemingway, South Carolina plant for Warner Brothers, the successor to R.K. Laros Silk Company. His materials were donated by his grandson, Matthew Hosfeld to the Industrial Archives & Library.

The R.K. Laros Silk Company Collection includes materials from the R.K. Laros Silk Company and its successor, the Warner Brothers Company. Materials include pamphlets, booklets, and some stationery from the company, as well as photographs of the plant and its operation during the first half of the twentieth century.
