Scope and Contents

The Railroad photograph collection consists of images documenting locomotives, rolling stock, equipment, locomotive sheds, stations, wrecks, yard views, and scenes along various rail lines. Featured railroad corporations include the Long Island Railroad, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Southern Pacific, Canadian National Railway, and the Delaware and Hudson Railroad Corporation.

These materials were received by the Industrial Archives & Library from the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in 2019.

Processing Information

All photographic materials have been placed into photograph sleeves and stored in archival boxes. Additional materials from the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum have been separated. Processing was completed by Melissa Nerino in 2019.
